THE ROLE:
Our clients are looking for Operational Risk Product Analysts to join their team.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

The Operational Risk Product Analyst (AVP) plays a pivotal role in delivering innovative risk technology solutions while ensuring full alignment with European Central Bank (ECB) supervisory expectations. Situated within the IT & Security Planning Department (ITSD), reporting directly to the Credit Risk Tech Lead with a dotted line to the Head of Credit Risk, you will serve as a key bridge between business requirements, regulatory demands, and tech delivery.

What Experience We Are Looking For:

• AVP-Level Experience: Background in Operational Risk, Risk Technology, or related functions within a regulated financial services institution.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of ECB/SSM operational risk regulatory frameworks, taxonomies, and expectations.
• Risk System Expertise: Hands-on experience supporting risk systems or product development (e.g., ConnectedRisk, SAI360, or bespoke ORM platforms).
• Delivery Capabilities: Analytical problem-solving, strong documentation skills, and comfort working in Agile delivery environments.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset, dependability as a self-starter, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.

SOME THINGS YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

• Product Ownership & Delivery: Translating regulatory and business requirements into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria while driving testing and rollout in Agile cycles.
• Regulatory & ECB Alignment: Executing gap analyses, supporting horizontal reviews, and addressing ECB findings regarding risk taxonomies, RCSA, KRIs, and ICAAP/OR capital.
• Framework & Data Enhancement: Strengthening operational risk frameworks across RCSA, loss data collection, and scenario analysis while advancing data quality, governance, and lineage initiatives.
• Stakeholder & Change Management: Partnering across 1LOD, 2LOD, IT, Compliance, Finance, and Audit to deliver cohesive risk tools, user training, and change management strategies.
