Operations Intern (Conversion to Full-Time)

BerlinOn-siteFull-time

AI Summary

An operations intern who automates manual workflows and owns end-to-end operational processes, coordinating partners and driving solutions across the business.

About this role

About the Role

This is not a typical operations internship. We're not looking for someone to manage processes — we're looking for someone to automate them out of existence. You'll report directly to a founding team member and own real parts of the business from day one: no slide decks, no shadow work, no busy tasks. If something is broken, you fix it. If something is manual, you eliminate it.

This is a 3–6 month paid internship with a clear path to convert into a full-time Operations role for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier to replace manual operational steps

  • Write Python scripts to support internal tooling and data processing needs

  • Own customer experience end-to-end — including onboarding, scheduling, results delivery, and retention flows

  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships across Europe (lab partners, phlebotomy clinics, supplement manufacturers)

  • Build and maintain internal ops infrastructure using Notion, Linear, and Airtable

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively propose and ship solutions

  • Communicate directly with German-speaking clinics, partners, and customers

What We're Looking For

Dealbreakers (must-haves):

  • Native-level German proficiency and fluent English — required for daily communication with clinics, partners, and customers

  • Ability to work on-site in Berlin, Germany, Monday–Friday

  • Eligible to work in Germany (visa sponsorship is not available)

Required:

  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field

  • Pursuing or recently graduated from a rigorous program (engineering, CS, business, or life sciences)

  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) and Python scripting

  • Experience building internal tooling with Notion, Linear, and/or Airtable

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional or multi-partner workflows

  • Owner mindset: fast execution, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action

  • Genuine enthusiasm for preventive health and longevity

Nice to have:

  • Prior exposure to healthtech, diagnostics, or a B2C membership/subscription model

  • Experience in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: €30,000 – €36,000 annually (internship rate; full-time conversion compensation discussed separately)

  • Real ownership and responsibility from day one

  • Direct mentorship from founding team

  • Clear and fast path to a full-time Operations role

Location

  • Berlin, Germany — fully on-site, Monday through Friday

  • Remote work is not available for this role

  • Visa sponsorship is not available
