Operations Manager

Project Airwave is a new company based in Berlin. We are building an open source software stack to power the next generation of cellular networks.We are using the blockchain to enable a decentralised and trust-less deployment of network infrastructure. Improving networks in urban areas and enabling simple and affordable infrastructure development in underserved rural areas, by reducing cost and reducing complexity.

Your Tasks

• As one of the first employees you will help building the company from the ground up.
• You will become an expert in the domains of blockchain, IoT and next generation telecommunications networks, working on the convergence of the most exciting technologies of our time
• You will expand and maintain our knowledge database
• You will implement and maintain processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operation
• You will support evaluation of business cases for the technology we are developing

Your Profile

• You are a bachelor or master student or just finished your studies in a business related field at a top school.
• You are able to gain a deep understanding of topics at hand
• You are fluent in English. German is a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Google Drive. Confluence, Jira is a plus.
• You are intuitive and methodical in conducting research
• You are detail-oriented and analytical
• You are self-guided and self-responsible
• You are organised and are able to support your team
• You are thoughtful and pragmatic and will get stuff done. You are calm and focused under pressure
• You believe effective and successful work is made possible by clear and honest communication, with a shared understanding of the long-term vision and immediate next actions. When you don't fully understand something, you ask lots of questions and use the opportunity to learn and grow.
