Who are we? (https://sg.getblood.com)
Blood is a period care brand for people who are done settling.
We created the world's first sanitary pad made from corn—better for the body (100% hypoallergenic), higher-performing (3x drier than cotton).
In under two years, we've become the #1 pad brand across major e-commerce channels in Southeast Asia: 4.9★ from 194,000+ reviews, 9,000+ retail doors, 12 million+ period days made better. Beyond pads, we make MenstruHeat for cramps and the Blood Menstrual Cup—same standard, same refusal to settle.
Now we're bringing Blood to India—and looking for the people who'll build it from zero.
Today was good. Tomorrow will bleed better.
Why India, why now
India is the biggest period care opportunity on earth and one of the least served, most of the market still runs on skin-irritating products designed decades ago. Quick commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) has torn down the distribution wall that used to keep challenger brands out for years. A skin-first, high-performance brand can now reach millions in months, not decades.
We've proven the model across three markets in SEA. India is where we prove it at scale. You'd join before the playbook exists, and help write it.
Who we’re looking for / The role
We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to be our first dedicated Ops hire as Blood enters India. You'll own the connective tissue between "we made the product" and "the customer received it," across marketplaces & quick commerce (Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart).
This is a high impact, high ownership role for someone who thrives under ambiguity, and can build systems from scratch while keeping the day-to-day running.
Responsibilities:
-
10% - Own end-to-end inventory planning - forecasting, reorder points, PO timing, and safety stock across every SKU and location
-
30% - Run backend quick commerce operations - PO fulfillment, GRN reconciliation, appointment blocking, maintaining TAT and lead time, APOB/GST registrations, and stock health across dark store clusters, in lockstep with the Account Manager who owns the platform relationship
-
30% - Own 3PL and warehouse relationships for D2C fulfillment - receiving, pick-pack-ship, returns, and shipping SLAs
-
20% - Manage manufacturers and vendors on production timelines, QC, freight, and cost - and hold them accountable when they slip
-
5% - Keep Blood compliant - GST, FSSAI, labeling, and all documentation platforms and audit requirements
-
5% - Build SOPs and trackers for reporting on key operations metrics e.g. fill rate, OTIF, inventory turnover
Ideal candidate:
-
3-5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, ideally in DTC/e-commerce or quick commerce in India
-
Direct experience with quick commerce platform operations (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) is a strong plus - dark stores, clusters, PLA/SOR/OR models, GRN process
-
Startup experience preferred - comfortable with ambiguity, limited hand-holding, and building from scratch rather than inheriting a system
-
Entrepreneurial, detail-obsessed, and process-oriented - the kind of person who systemizes rather than firefights, and catches the costly mistake nobody else is looking for
-
Data-driven, with strong Excel/Sheets skills
