Operations Supervisor

As an Operations Supervisor, your role and remit will be to supervise and support operatives in the delivery of day-to-day site and yard activities, plan and allocate work to ensure safe practices, efficient operations and adherence to quality, cost and delivery commitments.

Role Details:
• Annual salary up to £41,000 dependent on skills and experience Potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 5% subject to business performance
• Role based: Bordon, GU35 0JB
• Contract type: Permanent
• Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.

• Plan and allocate day-to-day work to operatives ensuring safe practices, efficient operations and cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and quality standards, including adherence to refurbishment times and guides.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards, engaging operatives in safe working practices and company initiatives.
• Supervise operatives on site and in the yard, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of performance.
• Escalate operational challenges or resource issues to the relevant stakeholders, providing clear information to aid resolution.
• Seek approval for changes to standard operating procedures and ensure instructions are followed consistently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting the adoption of best practice.

• Strong experience in a supervisor role
• Solid experience of working in a site or yard environment, with an understanding of safe and efficient operational practices.
• Ability to plan and allocate work, clearly communicating tasks and expectations to operatives.
• Skilled in identifying day-to-day operational challenges and applying practical problem-solving.
• Confident in seeking guidance and escalating issues appropriately for approval or resolution.
• Good communication skills, able to build effective working relationships with colleagues.
