- Drill Rigs: Fundex 2800 & 3500, PVE 90 dr, Bauer BG & RTG rigs, Hitachi fixed mast drill rigs, Restricted access & low headroom rigs, Anchor drilling rigs (Klemm, Casagrande, etc.)
Types of Drilling:
- DeWaal drilled displacement piles
- Continuous flight auger piles
- Partial displacement piles
- Double rotary drilling
- Secant piles
- Drilled shafts
- Tieback anchors & micropiles
Position Responsibilities: Drill Rig Operators are responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Operating friction and hydraulic cranes and drill rigs
- Cleaning, fueling, greasing, and performing preventative maintenance
- Conducting minor repairs to equipment
- Working in an exclusively outdoor environment, often in all weather conditions
This role demands individuals with good stamina, eyesight, hearing, balance, and physical strength. Operators need to be constantly alert to ensure safety and efficiency. Note that NCCCO certification is not required at this time.
Requirements:
- Constant sitting, reaching, and grasping
- Occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, and use of hand tools
- Strong vision capabilities, including acuity, depth perception, and field of vision
- Effective communication skills for safety and operational coordination
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of five years of equipment operating experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations
- Positive references from previous employers

- Steel-toed work boots
- Long sleeve shirt
- Suitable work pants with no holes
- 25-foot tape measure
- 12-inch adjustable wrench
