Optical Operations Technician

Responsibilities:

• Working with multi-functional teams on projects which may or may not be related to a Laser Technician’s normal scope of experience.
• Assemble vacuum assemblies, operate pumps and pressure vessels
• Ensure that documented Work Instructions & SOPs are followed and meet all quality requirements.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
• Participate in Stand-up meetings and communicate any issues or blockers.
• Participates in laser safety audits and related activities.
• Embrace growth in their understanding of the daily operations and scientific foundations of the lasers systems and optical processes at Xcimer.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate has an associates or bachelors degree with 1-3 years of high average power or high intensity laser work or 3-5 years of laser alignment and experience?
• Experience with opto-mechanical assembly and laser alignment.
• Must be cable of handling fragile optics and moving precisely.
• Experience working in a cleanroom and adhering to strict safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to analyze plan and coordinate work activities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum
