The SibelcoGlobal GraduateProgrammeis atwo-year rotationalprogrammeconsisting of twoone-year assignmentsin key operational and commercial roles. Participants gainhands-on experience withreal businessprojects, ensuring early responsibility and exposure to strategic decision-making.

Participants receive apermanent contract from the start, ensuring long-term career prospects within Sibelco. As part of thisprogramme, we are recruiting aGraduate Optimization Engineerfor a one-year assignment focused onmanaging CAPEX projects and operational improvements at the cluster levelin Rio Maior.

Graduates must also beopen to spending their second year in a different clusteroutside theirinitialregion to gaininternational or regional business exposure.

Your Impact in This Role

This assignment focuses ontechnical project managementfor CAPEX and operational projects, ensuring safe, sustainable, and cost-effective mineral processing improvements. Key responsibilities include:

• ManagingCAPEX projectsusing internationally standardized methods and best practices

• Overseeing theexecution and final outcomesof operational projects at the cluster level

• Drivingprocess innovationin areas such asrecycling and environmental applications

• Supportingsafe, efficient, and high-qualitymineral processing facility improvements

What You Bring to the Table

• Engineering degreewith an interest ininnovation, recycling, or environmental applications

• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills

• Leadership, communication, and project management skills

• Interest inprocess optimization and CAPEX project execution

• Fluent in Englisn and Portuguese, spanish language skills recommended but not mandatory

• Driving licenserequired

• Openness to spending the second year in a different clusterfor international/regional experience
