Position Summary
CareFlite is seeking a dynamic and experienced Orientation and FTO Supervisor to lead onboarding and field training initiatives for our ground clinical teams. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, consistent orientation experience for all new hires, overseeing Field Training Officers (FTOs), and supporting the hiring process.
This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about education, mentorship, and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage orientation programs for all new ground clinical employees
- Oversee and support Field Training Officers (FTOs), including selection, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure new hires are fully prepared for independent duty through structured onboarding and competency validation
- Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, and recruiting to support hiring and onboarding processes
- Monitor the trainee's progress and ensure timely completion of training requirements
- Maintain and improve training quality through continuous evaluation and feedback
- Ensure compliance with all CareFlite policies, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
- Participate in candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring activities
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Work Schedule & Environment
- Full-time, flexible schedule with rotating hours
- Approximately 40% based at HQ (Irving, TX) and 60% in the field
- Requires availability for some evenings and weekends
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction across departments and field teams

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Texas EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills
- Experience collaborating across teams and departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain instructor certifications (AHA, NAEMT, EVOS, PHTLS, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- FP-C or CCP-C certification
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Previous clinical leadership or training experience
