We are a single doctor orthodontic specialty practice located in Clearwater, FL looking for a professional, vibrant, and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent technical skills and communication skills, a natural servant leader, punctual and has a professional demeanor. A positive attitude, confidence, creative tendencies, and self-driven qualities are desired. Orthodontic assisting experience is required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.


Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the orthodontist with the delivery of patient care (face-to-face & virtual). Also assists with indirect patient care activities.


Duties include and are not limited to:


  • General orthodontic assisting duties (daily tasks, providing ortho care under Rx of the Doctor, clinical notes documentation, review of clinical charts, take radiographs, sterilization, assisting with appointment scheduling, patient/parent communication, clinical non-patient facing duties, etc.).
  • Plays an active role in self-organizing teams and works cohesively as with other team members.


Job Type:


Full-time (32-36 per week) (On-site)

Hours : M-F


*NOTE: This is a FULL TIME position. The employee must be available to work the required employee hours.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Certified Orthodontic Assistant Certification (Preferred)
  • Florida Radiographer Certification (Preferred)


Experience:

  • 1+ years of Orthodontic Assisting experience (Required)
  • Competent in Microsoft programs/applications (Preferred)
  • Bilingual (Preferred, Spanish a plus)
