WHAT YOU WILL DO
Accurately label, weigh and package cannabis products while paying close attention to detail for qualityPackage products in compliance with state regulations and company policiesComplete paperwork duties with consistency and accuracyMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAble to work independently as well as operating as a teamPerform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient/customer demandEffectively communicate with management and teamAdhere to Good Manufacturing (cGMP) policies and procedures including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) requiredAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferredAt least of 1 year relevant experience working in a labeling/packaging/customer service position preferredExcellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills preferredAttention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy requiredPunctual with reliable attendance required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently sittingOccasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat/kneelAbility to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.Some heavy lifting may be required. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.Good manual dexterity for packaging tasksMust be able to work in varying temperatures for extended periods of time with exposure to dust, allergens, and water. Appropriate PPE will be provided. Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping and bending. Twisting in tight areas may also be required at times.
