Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Specialist Practitioner

About this role
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- As a Band 6 Paediatric OT, you will work autonomously across a range of settings, managing a specialist caseload of children and young people with complex physical, learning and developmental needs.
- You will deliver assessments and interventions, contribute to EHCPs and MDT reviews, and provide specialist advice to families, schools and partner professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist
- Degree/Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- Experience or strong interest in paediatric OT
- Knowledge of child development and developmental/physical disabilities
- Confident managing a caseload and working independently
- Strong report writing skills (EHCP experience desirable)
- Experience using standardised and non‑standardised assessments
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, schools and MDTs
