Part-time Greenhouse Assistant

Description: Historic New England seeks a part-time Greenhouse Assistant at the Lyman Estate Greenhouses. Assistant will promote and conduct sales of plants, merchandise and memberships to meet established goals. The assistant will also participate in the maintenance and interpretation of the historic plant collection and greenhouse.

Qualifications: Applicant should enjoy working with the public and have one year of retail sales experience as well as nursery or greenhouse sales experience. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and have basic computer skills. Must be available weekends. Applicant should be willing to work in all weather conditions and be able to lift 40 pounds.
