JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Agricultural Sciences in the Entomology Department is seeking applicants for a part-time lab research assistant. A lab assistant in our research group will support day‑to‑day laboratory operations and contribute directly to active research projects. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on research experience in insect-plant interactions, familiarity with experimental design and data analysis, and a demonstrated ability to contribute to peer‑reviewed publications. This position requires completion of an M.S. degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline. The lab assistant will maintain laboratory workflows, design experiments, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with team members to advance high‑quality, publishable research outcomes.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $18/hour.
