Part Time Nanny – Downers Grove, IL

A welcoming Downers Grove family is looking for a warm, reliable part-time nanny to care for their 5-month-old and 2-year-old boys starting around mid-October. This is a smoke-free home with one medium-sized dog where Mom works from home.

Schedule:

• 2 days a week; 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday and Thursday ideal, but Thursday is required)
• Guaranteed 16 hours weekly

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home environment
• One medium-sized dog in the household

Responsibilities:

• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, arts, and crafts
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and diaper changes/potty training
• Plan meals, prepare food, and feed the children
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment throughout the day

Requirements:

• Prior experience caring for infants and young children simultaneously
• Comfort and experience working in a home with pets

Compensation:

• $24-28 per hour based on experience
