Position Summary
The Worship & Creative Arts Director is responsible for the worship ministries at CCC, including the main weekly worship service, additional non-Sunday worship-related events, and worship-related needs across ministries. The Director also provides ongoing discipleship to members of the worship and production teams.
This is a 30-hour-per-week position.
Tasks
Essential Job Functions
Worship Service Leadership (50%)
- Oversee the weekly development of the weekend worship service.
- Establish priorities and general patterns aligned with CCC’s overall mission, with clear focus on what and why in worship.
- Identify qualifications for worship leaders, song selection standards, and protocols for sound, AV, and livestream elements.
- Partner with the Senior Pastor and staff to plan services coordinated with sermon messages.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for gifted individuals to lead worship on Sunday mornings.
- Oversee the development and execution of special services for holidays and church-wide events.
Team Development & Discipleship (30%)
- Lead team development through recruitment, rehearsal, coaching, and spiritual discipleship.
- Provide ongoing training for instrumentalists, vocalists, and production technicians.
- Coordinate a creative team to collaborate with the Lead Pastor on developing creative communication for message series.
Administration & Budget (20%)
- Lead the development of the annual ministry budget; effectively manage and oversee spending for all assigned areas.
- Perform other responsibilities as deemed necessary by leadership.
Requirements

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Bible/Theology or a comparable field of study.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience leading in worship ministry or a comparable worship environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience equipping and staffing adult volunteers in non-profit or ministry settings.
- Experience working in a professional multi-staff environment.
