Parts Counter Representative

Responsibilities:

• Promotes, recommends, and maximizes sell of products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as requested
• Assists with preparing, zoning, and maintaining merchandise displays
• Assist with parts inventory; entering into computer system, sorting and storing in proper locations
• Assists in keeping parts department/sales floor clean and orderly
• Follows up on stock shortages and expedites concerns by reporting to the manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and assures vehicles are in good working order
• Additional duties assigned by supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other:

• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application and cash register/till
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Fork-lift license, preferred
