Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic services across anatomic and clinical pathology, including:
  • Surgical Pathology
  • Cytopathology
  • Frozen sections
  • Consultations
  • Lab Directorship
  • Collaborate with physicians, laboratory professionals, and administrative teams
  • Participate in laboratory quality programs, peer review, and case consultations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of results

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

  • Completion of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)

  • AP/CP board certified or board eligible

  • Licensure in the state of Nebraska (can be obtained after acceptance of offer)

  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

General Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting, visual focus for microscopic work, and manual dexterity for handling specimens and lab instruments. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be necessary. Must follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling biohazardous materials.
