As the Patient Services Coordinator, you will provide excellent customer service to clients and families, which includes welcoming families to the office, patient registration, collection of payments, scheduling, insurance verification, new patient referrals all with other typical healthcare office duties. You'll spend time working within several software programs which enable us to work efficiently at meeting the needs of families. You will also answer questions and requests to ensure we do our best to help the families who count on C&FD for their child's success. Travel to both the Pineville and Charlotte location will be required.
You should have:
- High School diploma with medical or administrative coursework preferred.
- College Degree OR 3 years medical office administrative experience OR 5 year’s medical office administrative experience and customer service experience in a non-healthcare setting combined preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Initiative to problem-solve and see client issues through to completion.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients and public.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume office, prioritize tasks and to work under pressure and deadlines without close supervision.
