II. ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overallobjectiveof the Role

Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing ofan accurateandtimelypayroll. Displays decision-making skills that support company and payroll policies.

MainResponsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Independently process payroll from end to endaccordingthe defined standards and client requirementsincludingall associated payroll tasks

  • Monitor and manage ticketqueuesusing theappropriate BItools toensuretickets are handledperthe defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds

  • Ability toutilizethehrXsuite of tools asitrelates to payroll processing and all associated activities

  • Be able to understand and interpret apayslip

  • Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar

  • Identifydeviations from the standard scope of service and act accordinglyincluding the identification and support of change request opportunities

  • Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information

  • Produce and understand standardand client specific payroll reportsincluding statutory year end reporting needs

  • Review andvalidatedata for accuracyandcompletenessand initiates corrections per the defined standards

  • Answerpayrollrelatedquestions and requests

  • Support and execute SOC1 Controls

  • Maintainandapplydefined work instructions (DWIs)

  • Perform Transactions with Third parties

  • Provide clear knowledge transfersto peers

  • Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process

  • Support and manage system maintenance testing

  • Support technical issue coordination and resolution

  • Maintains current knowledge of legislationrequirements;system updates,changesand overall payroll procedures

  • Participates in projectsand activitiesas needed and assigned

Job Experience

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Self-motivated and a willingness to learn

  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures

Academic Degree

Education and Training

Essential

  • BA/BSin a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, BusinessAdministration,or equivalent combination of education & experience

  • 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.

  • HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred

Desirable

  • Experience working with HR and payroll data
