PDI Service Engineer

MSX International supports leading automotive brands worldwide, helping to improve repair performance, customer satisfaction, and aftersales operations across more than 80 countries.

We are looking for a PDI Service Engineer to support an ongoing automotive project in Zeebrugge, Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards before being delivered to customers.

In addition to supporting this project, you will have opportunities to receive further technical training and become involved in Field Service Engineering activities across other automotive brands and projects.

Job can be either full-time or part-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Conduct technical, mechanical, and electronic vehicle checks.
• Identify and resolve defects or quality issues before vehicle delivery.
• Carry out software updates, configuration tasks, and minor repairs when required.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection results.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with manufacturer and quality standards.
• Collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Support additional technical projects and assignments as needed.
• Participate in technical training programs to expand expertise across multiple automotive brands.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and modern automotive systems.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Willingness to work on-site in Zeebrugge.
• High level English

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Previous Field Service Engineer experience.
• English communication skills; additional languages are considered an advantage.
