As a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – Pelvic Health, you'll have the opportunity to provide specialized pelvic health and pediatric physical therapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our structured scheduling allows time for individualized patient care, documentation, and teamwork, giving you the resources you need to deliver the highest quality therapy while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Physical Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide specialized pelvic health and pelvic floor physical therapy services for pediatric patients.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, posture, functional independence, and quality of life.
- Develop individualized home exercise programs and educate parents and caregivers to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with physicians, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- Pediatric physical therapy experience required.
- Pediatric pelvic health or pelvic floor therapy experience preferred.
- One year of experience preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
