People Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional operationally rigorous and solution-oriented People Operations Specialist based in Jaipur, India to join our global People Team. Operating with an AI-native and automation-first mindset in this role, you will own critical operational workflows across the employee lifecycle – from multi-region onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding across 10+ countries to multi-region payroll coordination to India benefits administration. You will serve as the operational bridge between global employees, managers, operational departments, payroll providers, and external vendors while keeping local India operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Global Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for global employees and contractors in systems like Rippling, Papaya, and Sequoia, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and multi-system deactivations
• Global Payroll & Operations: Coordinate monthly global payroll inputs across 10+ countries, managing mid-cycle changes, data audit schedules, and regional benefits like Edenred adjustments in Spain
• India Operations & Travel: Act as the primary point of contact for India insurance administration, manager overtime processing, and international travel/visa coordination
• Process Automation & AI Workflows: Audit existing People Operations processes to remove friction, building automated, agentic workflows to eliminate manual administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Experience & HR Systems: 4-6 years in People Operations or HR Generalist roles within a fast-paced tech/SaaS environment, featuring hands-on expertise in platforms like Rippling
• Global Payroll & India Benefits: Solid foundation in global payroll coordination, regional leave nuances, and managing local India insurance and vendor relationships
• Automation & AI Mindset: Proven ability to leverage modern AI tools, low-code automation, and system integrations to streamline and scale routine operational tasks
• Execution & Communication: Exceptional operational discipline for managing strict deadlines, paired with strong written and verbal communication skills across global time zones
