37.5 hours per week Required to work Saturdays on a rotational basis

Our Nuffield Woking pharmacy department currently have an opportunity for a pharmacy assistant . Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.

An opportunity has arisen for a full time pharmacy assistant to work alongside the pharmacist in delivery of a high quality service to our stakeholders.

As our Pharmacy Assistant you will:

• Assist in administrative tasks
• Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients
• Help prepare take home medicines for inpatients
• Aid in the procurement of medicines for the department
• Support with stock take and expiry date checking
• Provide all hospital departments with medicines at their request
• Assist the pharmacist with ward work and other duties as appropriate

To succeed as a Pharmacy Assistant , you will need:

• Have completed dispensing assistant course
• Have experience in patient facing role
• Be fluent in English and have basic numeracy skills
• Be motivated to provide high quality service
• A team player

Our specialities include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment,Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
