Job Title: Shopify Developer / PHP

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with strong expertise in PHP to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing e-commerce solutions on the Shopify platform, ensuring seamless integration with PHP-based systems. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Shopify's architecture, a solid grasp of PHP programming, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and efficient e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Shopify Development:

   • Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes, apps, and functionalities.
   • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly online shopping experience.
   • Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance the functionality of Shopify stores.

2. PHP Development:

   • Develop and maintain PHP-based applications to support e-commerce processes and functionalities.
   • Collaborate with the backend development team to ensure seamless communication between Shopify and PHP systems.

3. Customization and Optimization:

   • Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet specific business requirements.
   • Optimize Shopify stores for performance, ensuring fast loading times and an optimal user experience.

4. API Integration:

   • Work with various APIs to integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and shipping solutions into Shopify stores.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to API integrations.

5. Testing and Debugging:

   • Conduct thorough testing of Shopify applications and PHP-based functionalities to identify and fix bugs.
   • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.

6. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain technical documentation for Shopify and PHP-based developments.
   • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong background in PHP development.
• Solid understanding of the Shopify platform, liquid template language, and Shopify Plus features.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
