Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OOP and related design patterns
• In-depth knowledge and experience developing enterprise applications in PHP using the Laravel development environment (experience with Blade templates a plus)
• Strong development knowledge of database technologies and interface implementations especially for MySQL (MongoDB experience a plus)
• Experience implementing payment gateway APIs and integration including PayPal for web and native mobile
• A strong appreciation for web technologies and their application to high performance systems including experience using nginx
• Experience using cloud-based backend hosting services for web services, API services, database services and queue design / management
• Experience with software development and release management using GitHub
• Able to manage the development process with Jira software issue tracking methodology and tool
• Knowledge of IOS and/or Android fundamentals also a plus
