PHP Developer

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

We are looking for a PHP developer with strong Object-Oriented PHP experience. You will be based in our Makati office to be primarily responsible for designing, building and maintaining a challenging code base. You will work with other members of the team and will be need to address a number of technical challenges with the sites.

More than a developer, we’re looking for an individual motivated to work in a challenging technical environment and who likes to take ownership of issues. You need to be curious, passionate about what you do and eager to have initiative to make things better. You also need to be comfortable to work with non-technical people for product-level discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science or similar engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years in object-oriented PHP
• Expertise in JavaScript (JQuery onwards)
• Proficient in HTLM5 and Bootstrap CSS
• Must be Linux proficient (any flavor)
• Must be GIT proficient (branching, merging)
• Experience with OSClass or Magento2 is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with AWS development is a plus
• Proven experience is work on early stage products or prototypes
• Must have a “can do”, self-driven attitude
• UX / design experience is a plus
