About the Opening

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time opportunity in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position is built around practical patient care, clear treatment planning, and steady progress for patients managing orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

You will help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, and overall function. The clinic serves patients from 11 to 90 years old, giving the role a varied mix of ages, diagnoses, and recovery goals.

What the Clinic Looks Like

  • Modern outpatient orthopedic setting
  • 7–15 patients per day
  • Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
  • 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
  • WebPT EMR system
  • Primary caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Schedule Preference

The clinic strongly prefers one of these schedule options:

Four 10-Hour Days

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Option

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Complete patient evaluations and reassessments
  • Identify mobility limitations, strength deficits, pain concerns, and functional goals
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Treat orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical cases, and movement limitations
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance work, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
  • Teach home exercise programs and safe activity progression
  • Monitor patient outcomes and update treatment plans as appropriate
  • Document care and progress using WebPT
  • Work with PTAs to support treatment continuity

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
  • Strong patient communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with patients across different ages and treatment needs
