Job Summary

We are looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist in Pleasant Valley, Missouri to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position is open to experienced clinicians and new graduates who are ready to begin or continue their physical therapy career in a team-based setting.

This role focuses on evaluating patients, building treatment plans, providing skilled therapy, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, comfort, and daily function. The primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old.

Daily Volume: 7–15 patients
Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 visits
Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants

Preferred Schedule Options

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations and follow-up assessments
  • Develop plans of care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide treatment for injuries, post-surgical recovery, weakness, pain, balance concerns, and mobility limitations
  • Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, manual therapy, functional movement, and mobility training
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery goals
  • Track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Complete clinical documentation through WebPT
  • Collaborate with PTAs and clinic team members to support patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work with patients across a wide age range
