Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join in our brand-new building in Folsom, CA in Summer 2027!

General Gastroenterology PracticeOpportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests into practicePreferred areas of interest include:
  • Hepatology
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
  • Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders
Established referral network with strong patient demand

This position includes a meaningful Graduate Medical Education (GME) component for physicians who enjoy teaching and mentoring future gastroenterologists.

  • Work directly with Gastroenterology Fellows rotating through clinic

Qualifications

  • Desire to participate in teaching and mentorship of GI fellows required
  • At least 2 years of practice experience strongly preferred
  • Interest or expertise in Hepatology, IBD, or Motility strongly welcomed
  • CA DEA
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • California medical licensure (or applied/planning to apply)
