Pipefitters (Ship System Installers) for a Shipyard in Turku
For our client company, we are looking for motivated and qualified pipefitters to work at a shipbuilding shipyard in Turku, Finland.
Responsibilities
Installation of piping systems in various areas of the vessel (engine rooms, fuel systems, ballast water systems, and firefighting systems).
Connecting pipes primarily using welding methods MMA (111).
Working with heavy-walled steel pipes, stainless steel, copper-nickel alloys, and large cast-iron pipes.
Requirements
Experience: Mandatory experience in marine pipefitting within a shipyard environment.
Professional Skills: Ability to work with the aforementioned marine systems and materials, as well as welding skills.
Certifications: Valid Finnish safety cards (Työturvallisuuskortti / Occupational Safety Card, Tulityökortti / Hot Work Card).
Personal Qualities: Precision, independence, technical problem-solving skills, and strong teamwork.
Language Skills: Good command of either Finnish or Russian.
