This is a full-time role based in the Shareridge Head Office in Castlebar, reporting into the Pre-Construction and Planning Manager and assisting in program planning, analysis, and updates.  

Duties: 

• Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work, utilising MS Project. 

• Liaising with project teams to review and update current programmes. 

• Proactively monitoring progress on a weekly basis. 

• Working in an organised system to deliver outputs within stringent timelines. 

• Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders. 

• Using project management tools to plan timeframes. 

• Assisting in the planning of contingency programmes in case timeframes change. 

• Provide detailed support and assistance to the Pre-Construction and Planning Manager as needed. 

Requirements: 

• A third level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline. 

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a Civils Contracting environment is advantageous. 

• Strong and accurate record keeping abilities. 

• Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software including MS Project.  

• Ability to problem solve and prioritise work effectively. 

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
