Job Description ๐จโ๐ป
We are looking for a Power Electronics Expert at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.
Attached to the R&D Team, you will be responsible for:
๐ Providing expertise and tech
๐ Supporting advanced research
๐ Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Main responsibilities:
๐ Reviewing and approving technical documents, both generated internally and with suppliers and customers,
๐ Leading specific activities linked with research and development activities on power electronics applied to electric propulsion and at satellite-level,
๐ Help develop the technical expertise of the team through the writing of best practices and design guidelines,
๐ Be the reference to define test plans, validation strategies and technological roadmap on power electronics,
๐ Identifying innovative technologies (topologies, architectures, suppliers, โฆ) or methodologies to be further studied,
๐ Mobilising resources for exploration of innovative technologies and methodologies,
๐ Representing Exotrail in seminars and forums, sharing their expertise and promoting the companyโs vision and capabilities.
Preferred Experience ๐โโ๏ธ
Education: Mastersโ or PhD in electrical engineering or related field
๐ Experience: 10 years in power electronics (100 โ 1000W) for defence systems. Experience in the space sector is ideal and appreciated.
๐ Strong knowledge and experience of the design of a complete power electronics system (hardware to software), including filtering.
๐ Software/firmware for power electronics control.
๐ Expertise in simulation tools (LTspice).
๐ Strong technical leadership in multi-team technical meetings and a high level of agility.
๐ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with colleagues and external stakeholders in French and English (B2 min).
