About The Role:
We are looking for an experienced PR Consultant (Account Manager) to join our Perth team on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend.
You’ll be based in Perth and work closely with The Brand Agency team locally, while also collaborating remotely with the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney.
The role will support communications activity for a major new corporate client, allowing you to work across corporate communications, media relations, and integrated campaigns. You’ll help bring complex business and industry stories to life, identify opportunities to build reputation and influence, and deliver engaging communications across a range of stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of the account, working across both teams to develop stories, manage media relationships, support client communications, and deliver high-quality work.
Working as part of this wider team, you’ll have access to the expertise and support of the Sydney-based Ogilvy PR team, while being closely connected to the Perth-based TBA team.
For this project, you’ll have the opportunity to develop communications around a major project, and help translate complex topics into clear, compelling stories for media and broader audiences.
What You'll Do:

- Immerse yourself in the client’s business, networks, issues and industry.
- Stay across competitors, industry developments and the broader energy landscape.
- Think beyond earned media to identify how stories can come to life across multiple channels.
- Support integrated campaigns that connect communications, channels and messages.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
- Contribute ideas and strategic recommendations that help achieve client objectives.
What You'll Bring:
- PR or communications experience at Account Manager level or equivalent.
- Experience working with corporate, business, technology, or related clients.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape and established media relationships.
- A track record of developing stories and securing quality editorial coverage.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
