Preschool Assistant Teacher – Ages 3–6

At Cabrillo Montessori School, we believe in creating a warm and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Our fully implemented Montessori programs foster independence, creativity, problem-solving, and strong social connections while helping children build the skills and confidence they need for the future.

Our Primary Community serves children ages 3–6 with a collaborative teaching team of 3 teachers: 1 Lead Guide and 2 Assistant Teachers. Together, the teaching team creates an engaging classroom where children learn at their own pace through hands-on experiences, meaningful work, and opportunities to develop greater independence.

We are looking for caring and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teachers who:

• Have experience or a strong desire to work with preschool-aged children
• Are eager to learn and grow as educators
• Thrive in a collaborative, supportive teaching team
• Want to explore Montessori education and philosophy
• Enjoy hands-on learning experiences like gardening, cooking, art, practical life, science, and STEM activities with children
