Principal Test Architect – AI & Advanced Test Technology

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Architect to drive next-generation semiconductor test technology, with a focus on AI-enabled test development, simulation platforms, and Design for Testability (DFT). This role will define and develop innovative tools and methodologies that accelerate test development, improve test quality, and enable earlier validation throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in ATE test development and semiconductor testing with strong software development, automation, and DFT knowledge. They will work across Design, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and Operations teams to create scalable solutions that improve engineering productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive advanced test technology and methodology roadmaps.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions to improve test development, debug, and validation efficiency.
• Lead development of simulation and virtual test environments to enable earlier test readiness.
• Drive DFT strategy, test coverage improvement, and testability requirements for new products.
• Partner with design teams to influence product architectures for manufacturability and test effectiveness.
• Create reusable frameworks, tools, and automation that reduce development cycle time and engineering effort.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across global engineering teams.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of semiconductor Test Engineering, Product Engineering, DFT, or Test Architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in ATE test development and production test methodologies.
• Deep understanding of DFT concepts including scan, ATPG, memory test, structural test, and diagnostics.
• Experience developing software tools and automation solutions using Python and related technologies.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications, simulation environments, and data-driven engineering workflows.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience developing AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Experience with virtual test, digital twin, or simulation-based validation methodologies.
• Background in analog, mixed-signal, power, or digital semiconductor products.
• Experience influencing engineering standards and technology strategy across multiple product lines.
