SUMMARY:

The Procurement and Facilities Operations Technician supports day‑to‑day operations in a secure environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs and oversees facility operations including material handling, equipment coordination, workflow support, and accurate recordkeeping.

• Responsibilities include providing customer and help desk support across industry, Federal, and DoD environments, maintaining clear written and verbal communication, and assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, report updates, and documentation control.

• Additional duties include coordinating with base personnel to align procedures, resolve operational issues, and ensure continuity of facility services.• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory tracking, product research documentation maintenance, and data management systems.

• Familiarity with Navy and DoD procurement processes to support purchasing actions, material requests, vendor coordination, and controlled media distribution.• Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI.

• Ability to work independently under general supervision with strong interpersonal communication skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required.
