UKTI Digital has been tasked to investigate and build a number of services, both internal and external facing, and is actively looking to expand its already passionate and strong delivery team and requires an experienced Agile Product Manager.

About the work

Who the specialist will work with

A multi-disciplinary agile team including UX designer, user researcher, front-end developer, back-end developer, content designer, web ops, tech arch, delivery manager and service manager.

What the specialist will work on

This role will focus on our services for inward investment into the UK, building and running a digital service. This product manager will start with discovery, including scoping the problem, leading user research, defining user needs and prototyping solutions, then lead the service through alpha, beta and live. This product manager will lead in-house and external resource. This role is part of the Digital Delivery team, and reports to the Head of Digital Delivery.

Working arrangements Work will be on-site in London (Mon-Fri) - there is the potential for work from home days by agreement with Service Manager

Security clearance BPSS is required for all personnel

Qualifications

Skills and experience

Essential skills and experience

• Have been responsible for delivery and ongoing management of high quality, digital products
• Have directly managed an agile delivery team to deliver working software
• Have successfully worked in teams that have delivered a number of complex software project where performance was critical

Nice-to-have skills and experience

• Experience of working in a user experience led development process
• Experience of helping a business transition to agile
