What you will be doing:

  • Support the development and management of product offerings, helping ensure they align with company goals and customer needs.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining project timelines, collaborating across teams to keep initiatives on track.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policy forms for new or updated products, utilizing ISO, competitor, or proprietary content with support from senior staff as needed.
  • Help communicate and reinforce the product vision across internal teams.
  • Translate product strategy and ideas into clear requirements that balance accuracy, completeness, and speed to market.
  • Identify and communicate product gaps or opportunities for improvement that enhance customer experience and support business growth.
  • Coordinate product launches in partnership with marketing, sales, and leadership.
  • Monitor product performance and competitiveness, including rate positioning and customer feedback.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates in active and target states.
  • Research new product opportunities and summarize findings for senior leadership review.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and support broader product initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you already have:

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, mathematics, statistics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of product management experience in P&C lines relevant to Slide’s current or planned offerings.
  • Insurance-related designations (CPCU, etc.) are a plus but not required.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, with experience supporting projects from concept to launch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL or other data tools a plus.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly; familiarity with developing or updating policy forms preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
