About the Role
Join our team as a Production Assistant at our Guernsey Factory and help us create moments that matter for our customers.
Working within our fulfilment operation, you'll play an important role in producing, personalising and dispatching customer orders to a high standard. Based primarily within the Handscan department, you'll also have opportunities to learn new skills and gain experience across different areas of the factory.
This is a permanent position working an average of 31.5 hours per week. Shifts are spread across evenings and weekends, consisting of three 10-hour shifts Sunday–Thursday (12:00–22:00) plus every other Saturday (07:00–13:00). The factory is closed on Fridays. A shift allowance is paid for unsociable hours, and there are opportunities to work overtime during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and fulfil customer card orders accurately and efficiently
Operate machinery and production equipment safely and effectively
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety guidelines
Work to production schedules and daily performance targets
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
Identify and report any quality or production issues to the Site Manager or Shift Lead
Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment
About You
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support others
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Confidence following processes and safety procedures consistently
Good literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions and process orders accurately
Willingness to work additional hours during peak trading periods when required
Strong team-working skills and a delivery-focused mindset
Previous production, warehouse or fulfilment experience is beneficial but not essential
Openness to training and developing skills across different machinery and production areas
