Berman Auto Group is looking for a Production Manager to lead our high-volume shop in Niles, IL.

Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 / year 
Location: 5757 W Touhy Ave, Niles, IL 60714
Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, monitor, and dispatch technician workloads to maximize daily efficiency
  • Maintain seamless communication between Service Advisors, Technicians, and Management to keep everyone on the same page
  • Relay repair orders quickly, minimize delays, and handle Used Car Inspection ROs with accuracy
  • Keep Service Advisors updated on repair statuses, potential delays, and parts requests
  • Track technician productivity goals, manage shop maintenance, and order/organize special tools
  • Keep the Service Manager updated with daily status and activity reports

Qualifications:

  • Required: Experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician and/or Service Manager within a dealership environment (Note: If you don't know what a flat-rate hour is, this isn't the role for you!)
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and standard shop software
  • Ability to positively motivate, manage, and develop a diverse team of technicians
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
