Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency from purchasing and receiving to storage, preparation, and plate presentation – all within established budget guidelines.
• Supervise and support all kitchen staff ensuring adherence to performance standards and kitchen operations.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas meet sanitation standards.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations (e.g., Health Department HACCP), and survey inspection process.
• Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and visual presentation.
• Performs other job-related duties.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Current ServSafe certification preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years managing the food service department in long term care facility, hospital, or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of large scale and therapeutic food preparation with focus on quality production, sanitation, food cost control, and food preparation.
• Solid leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, Outlook Email, Microsoft Office, On Care, and Meal Tracker.
