NELOGIS provides a full range of logistics services to U.S. Government departments and agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of State (DoS). In addition, we serve the United Nations and its associated agencies and NATO. NELOGIS provides process-oriented, cost-effective solutions for training, procurement, warehousing, transportation management, staff augmentation and support, and bulk and retail fuel operations and distribution in domestic and austere locations. 

NELOGIS is seeking a Production Manager to support DLA Distribution operations in the State of California and has identified a need for distribution and warehousing services. DLA Distribution primary mission is to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Production Manager manages and provides technical guidance and direction pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of the Distribution Center’s operational production divisions to include, the performance planning, systems management, stock positioning, storage, traffic management, workload and staffing impacts, and site-specific missions within scope of the PWS.
  • Performs complex functions associated with responding to problems and formulating plans for corrective actions on all aspects of the Distribution operations.
  • Analyzes operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports, and collaboration with others.
  • Possess the skill and ability to leverage information systems to better predict workload changes and adjust resourcing accordingly.  

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and performing statistical analysis on operations similar to the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract. 
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.  
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.   
  • + Previous experience at a DLA Distribution Depot is a positive

Additional Information

Position is Full Time Positions (40 hrs per week).

Work Location is TBD, but within the State of California
