Production Manager (m/w/d)

As a leading provider of reusable plastic layer pads in the Benelux region, Cartonplast has over 30 years of experience delivering environmentally friendly pooling solutions for the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries.

We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager who takes ownership, leads by example, and drives operational excellence at our production site in Spijk.

Tasks

• Lead and optimize daily production operations
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and ISO 14001 standards
• Oversee machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Manage production capacity, resources, and workflows efficiently
• Train and support production employees
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, and productivity initiatives
• Lead local projects from planning to successful implementation
• Represent the site during customer visits and attend occasional international meetings

Requirements

• Fluent Dutch and good English skills
• Strong hands-on mentality with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Technical qualification and experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or production environments
• Initial leadership experience is an advantage
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
• Team player with a willingness to take responsibility
• Valid driving licence required
