Production Manager – Temporary Assignment

We are now looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager for a temporary assignment to lead our Gothenburg-based production site, CSSP (Consilium Safety Sweden Production).

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who can quickly take ownership, create stability and drive performance while supporting the site through an important phase of transformation and development.

The Role

As Manager production, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of CSSP and lead a dedicated production team, including team leaders to every day success.

You will play a key role in ensuring stable production performance while strengthening ways of working, developing the organization and driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and develop your team with a visible, hands-on and supportive leadership style

• Ensure the right competence and capacity are available to meet production needs both long and short term

• Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality day-to-day production according to plan

• Drive Lean principles, process follow-up and continuous improvement

• Follow KPIs to track and improve operational performance

• Lead and support the organization through change and transformation

• Build strong relationships with employees, team leaders and union representatives

• Participate in local labor negotiations and employee-related matters

• Collaborate closely with other functions and contribute to cross-functional and global initiatives

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and ways of working

Who Are You?

We are looking for a secure and experienced leader who creates trust, brings structure and is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

You are a leader who is visible in the operation, understands the importance of people and performance, and knows how to turn plans into action.

You bring:

• 5–10 years of experience in production, preferably from electronics, high-tech manufacturing or complex assembly

• Proven experience in people leadership and personnel planning

• Experience working with Lean, KPIs and process/performance follow-up

• Experience from production environments with a high level of technical complexity

• A strong track record of change management and transformation

• The ability to create engagement, accountability and a high-performing team culture

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• The confidence to work independently and take ownership

• Experience working with unions and/or labor relations is an advantage

• Project management experience is an advantage

• Fluency in Swedish and English
