Production Supervisor (Perm Night shift) - 1 Year Contract

Purpose:

To supervise and coordinate assembly operations to ensure equipment is assembled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with customer requirements, technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery commitments. The role is responsible for leading the production team, optimizing resources, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a disciplined shopfloor execution.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily assembly activities to ensure compliance with customer specifications and documented procedures
• Oversee equipment assembly, alignment, testing, inspection, integration, troubleshooting, and product release activities
• Plan, assign, and coordinate work to meet production schedules and delivery targets
• Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of assembly tools and special equipment
• Distribute jobs and balance workload effectively across the production team
• Comply to team objectives, goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide guidance or corrective actions when required
• Ensure all shopfloor activities comply with approved work instructions and documented procedures
• Monitor quality performance and initiate corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances
• Monitor and report production performance, progress, efficiency, and delivery metrics
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting within the shop floor control system
• Enforce workplace safety rules and ensure compliance with EHS requirements
• Promote good housekeeping practices to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Requirements

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Engineering or equivalent course
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory role
