Production Technician

Job Summary:**

CROWN Maghreb Can is seeking a highly motivated Production Technician to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficient production and quality control of metal packaging products.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Operate and monitor various production machinery and equipment, including presses, forming machines, and conveyor systems, adhering to safety protocols and operating procedures.
* Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting visual checks and using measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment malfunctions and production issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians or supervisors.
* Load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate material handling and inventory management.
* Complete production records, logs, and quality control documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles and company safety regulations.
* Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in a related field (e.g., industrial mechanics, electrical technology) is a plus.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems and control panels is an advantage.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production specifications.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications is a plus.
