As a Program Assistant at IE University, you will be the first point of contact for students and professors, supporting the daily operations of our academic programs in our various IE Schools: Business School, School of Economics, Politics & Social Affairs, School of Architecture & Design, School of Science & Technology, IE Law School, IE School of Human Sciences and Technology, IE Lifelong Learning & Executive Education. This is an ideal entry-level role for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a multicultural setting. Responsibilities
Your role as a Program Assistant will involve:- Provide daily support and guidance to students and professors, addressing queries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Act as a liaison and coordinate with various departments involved in program operations (Faculty, Admissions, Registrar’s Office, Planning, etc.).
- Manage a high volume of emails and respond promptly to student inquiries.
- Compile and update student information databases.
- Assist in preparing and editing reports and presentations.
- Organize logistics for program activities: events, simulations, visits, travel arrangements, and catering.
- Contribute to communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate on improving administrative procedures and data collection systems
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Customer service orientation and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Valid work permit for the European Union.
