Under the guidance of the Director, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the coordination, implementation and administrative duties for assigned department and program. Works in collaboration with community-based organizations, area hospitals, off-site practices and community practitioners to assure productivity of program. Oversees program management and outcomes reporting.

Essential Duties:

• Promote and support access to comprehensive, status neutral Sexual Health Services, including STI screening/testing and treatment, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), HIV testing, and HIV primary care linkage.
• Work with individual clinics’ staff and frontline care providers to identify current patients appropriate for Sexual Health Services and to promote HIV testing.
• Maintain a caseload of PEP/PrEP, HIV-positive, and/or HCV-positive patients in need of linkage to sexual health care; help them keep follow-up appointments and troubleshoot benefits navigation issues.
• Assist with funding reporting requirements and tracking of patients throughout the NYP system.

This is a full-time grant funded day shift position 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in a related discipline

• Grant budget management experience

• Able to conduct a comprehensive, culturally competent, sex-positive sexual history.
• Passion for working with community members living with HIV and/or at-risk of HIV. Additionally have a passion for working with populations who have experienced gender and sexuality-based discrimination and able to provide culturally competent services to meet their health care needs.

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience

• Excellent writing and communication skills – possess verbal and written skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency with MS Office

• Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, ability to work with diverse community groups and multi-task

$66,300-$89,000/Annual
