Programmer / Developer

Description

The candidate will support the operation by developing software which integrates and acts as a front-end for the Quantum Aviation system. The software acts within the framework of an integrated process structure for efficiently handling aircraft engine repair. The developer will work with a team of IT professionals that provide support for existing in-house applications and direction for the development of new applications to speed up data entry and improve enterprise processes.

Skill Set:

· C# Winforms, Oracle developer (core skill set)

· VB .net (support of legacy code base)

· Windows server environment

· Oracle DBA skills are a plus

· Crystal Reports .net

· Quantum ERP a strong plus

· Aviation experience helpful

Responsibilities:

· Support of production environment

o Monitor and fix any bugs

o Resolve entry/process errors created by users. Develop methods to prevent these

o Further develop processes and routines to increase accuracy and efficiency

· Develop new applications as required by the process structure

· Support basic Oracle functions

o Schema restores for environmental handling

o Accounting month end work
